Questions we hear

Most engineers are active in your repo, Slack, and standups within 24 hours of contract signing. The first week typically covers codebase orientation and one or two scoped tickets. By week two, engineers are carrying full sprint load. We handle all the pre-vetting before you even meet a candidate.

Three months is our standard minimum. It gives the engineer enough runway to ramp up and deliver meaningful output. For shorter bursts -- a specific feature build or a production incident -- we're flexible on structure, but we'll scope it differently than an ongoing embedded engagement.

Our engineers work across UTC-5 to UTC+6 (US Eastern through Pakistan Standard Time). Most client teams are in North America or Europe, and we ensure at least a 4-hour overlap window with your team's core hours. Timezone fit is part of our matching criteria.

With outsourcing, you hand off a spec and review deliverables. With embedded augmentation, your engineer joins your team, your tools, and your culture -- they're in your GitHub, your Jira, your design reviews. The engineer is accountable to your team lead, not to us.

If the fit isn't right in the first two weeks, we replace the engineer at no additional cost. Beyond two weeks, we arrange a transition based on specific feedback. We've kept our replacement rate below 5% because the pre-vetting process is thorough.
